About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated Sterile Processing Technician to support a high-volume healthcare facility during the evening shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning, sterilizing, and preparing surgical instruments and equipment while ensuring strict adherence to infection control and quality standards.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- CRCST or CSPDT certification required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on sterile processing experience
- Experience handling loaner and consignment trays
- Familiarity with instrument tracking systems and documentation processes

Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming loaner and consignment trays for accuracy and completeness
- Verify tray contents before and after sterilization according to established standards
- Track trays throughout the sterilization and return cycle in coordination with leadership
- Communicate effectively with team members and vendors to ensure timely processing
- Maintain accurate documentation and records in instrument tracking systems
- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols
- Support workflow efficiency in a fast-paced sterile processing environment
