About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Sterile Processing Technician to support sterilization operations and workflow coordination in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate will ensure proper handling, processing, and tracking of surgical instruments while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 3–5 years of hands-on Sterile Processing experience
- Strong experience with loaner and consignment tray management
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- CRCST or CSPDT certification required
- BLS certification required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong observational and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to collaborate across departments and teams
Responsibilities
- Verify accuracy, completeness, and integrity of tray contents before and after sterilization
- Coordinate with vendors, clinical teams, and internal staff to ensure timely processing of instruments
- Track and document tray movement throughout the sterilization cycle
- Oversee daily workflow and production in collaboration with leadership
- Prioritize workloads to ensure operational efficiency
- Provide guidance and oversight to technicians as needed
- Maintain compliance with sterilization standards and quality protocols
