It provides on-site support for the reprocessing of surgical instruments and sets to contracted facilities, ensuring compliance with Department of Health, TJC, OSHA, CDC, AAMI, and AORN standards, as well as the facility's goals and policies. The role supports daily operations related to the reprocessing of reusable medical supplies and instrumentation, including decontamination, cleaning, assembly, wrapping, sterilization, and storage processes, all within professional standards and regulations.
