About The Position

The Sterile Processing Technician performs routine work in the decontamination, assembly, testing, and instruments in a medical facility, under the supervision of the Supervisor of Sterile Processing. Hours: Tuesday - Saturday from 1:00 pm to 9:30 pm. This is the first level of a three-level series. It is distinguished from the higher levels by the absence of responsibility for performing advanced and complicated sterilization, assembly and testing of medical equipment, supplies and instruments. Requirements

• Vocational training in Sterile Processing.

Nice To Haves

• Certified Registered Central Service Technician (HSCPA) upon hire or Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CBSPD) upon hire
