About The Position

This role involves performing various duties in the Central Sterile area of the Operating Room, including cleaning used articles, assembling, wrapping, and issuing sterile supplies. The technician will process instruments and equipment using steam, gas, and chemicals, and will be responsible for processing and sterilizing instruments.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience in a health care facility.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Familiar with basic medical terminology.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient served.
• High School diploma or equivalency.
• Basic understanding/working knowledge of aseptic technique.
• Able to work independently.

Nice To Haves

• Central Sterile Technician Certification preferred.
• Certification and/or prior CS Tech experience preferred.

Responsibilities
