About The Position
Baptist Health Floyd is seeking a Sterile Processing Tech for its Sterile Processing Department in the Southern Indiana/Louisville, Kentucky area. This position cleans, prepares, and sterilizes reusable patient-care supplies; dispenses reusable and disposable patient-care supplies; maintains sterilizer logs and performs daily sterilizer equipment testing; and reports equipment breakdowns. The position is part-time, 24 hours per week, working Saturdays and Sundays from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Holidays are not required. The role offers the opportunity to work in a regional, nonprofit community hospital and an environment that promotes continued education and growth.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- One year of sterile processing experience or one year of surgical scrub experience.
