About The Position
Baptist Health Floyd is seeking a Sterile Processing Tech for its Sterile Processing Department. This part-time position is 24 hours per week, working Saturday and Sunday from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., with no holidays. The role is based in the Southern Indiana/Louisville, Kentucky area. The Sterile Processing Tech cleans, prepares, and sterilizes reusable patient care supplies; dispenses reusable and disposable patient care supplies; maintains sterilizer logs; performs daily testing of sterilizer equipment; and reports equipment breakdowns. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- One year of sterile processing experience or one year of surgical scrub experience is preferred.
