About The Position
The Sterile Processing Tech III position at the Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) is an employee role within the Consolidated Service Center (Offsite) SPD department. This role requires a high school diploma or GED, certification through CRCST - HSPA or CBSPD, and a minimum of two years of sterile processing experience, preferably in a hospital or surgical setting. Successful completion of the department’s internal written and practical exam, along with meeting performance and productivity standards, is necessary to achieve and maintain Sterile Processing III status. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Certification through CRCST - HSPA (Healthcare Sterile Processing Association) or CBSPD (Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution)
- Minimum of two (2) years of sterile processing experience
- Successful completion of the department’s internal written and practical exam
