About The Position

Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire a Sterile Processing Tech II who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing. As a Sterile Processing Tech II you will: • Disassemble, clean, assemble, sterilize and store procedure trays instruments, equipment and supplies according to prescribed procedures and aseptic techniques under direct supervision • Complete requests to dispense equipment and supplies and assists in maintaining and processing patient charge records and maintaining department inventory

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Certification from an accredited organization
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year experience in a Sterile Processing department preferred

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, clean, assemble, sterilize and store procedure trays instruments, equipment and supplies according to prescribed procedures and aseptic techniques under direct supervision
