About The Position

As a Central Processing Technician, you'll be responsible for keeping our operating rooms and hospital floors running smoothly! This role involves mastering the art of cleaning and sterilizing medical instruments, handling the assembly, processing, and distribution of medical instruments with attention to detail, and playing a crucial role in patient safety by maintaining the highest sterilization standards. You will also organize and store instruments efficiently, collaborate with various departments, and perform quality control to ensure high standards. This position requires adapting to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and implementing new initiatives. The ideal candidate is patient, detail-oriented, enjoys hands-on work, and can take direction effectively. There are opportunities to advance to Tech II or III.

Nice To Haves

Experience working alone when sterilizing instruments in the Central Processing Department (CPD)
Experience working with Surgical Technicians to ensure instruments are set properly for upcoming operations
