About The Position
FlexStaff is seeking a Sterile Processing Supervisor for a permanent, full-time position at a client facility in Bethpage, Long Island. The supervisor will lead and coordinate a team of 15 employees in the facility’s sterilization department. The position pays $70,000–$75,000 and works from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Availability to work some holidays and rotating weekends is required.
Requirements
- Associate degree.
- Current Registered Central Supply Technician Certification (CRCST).
- Relevant experience, including at least 3 years of supervisory experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead and train team members to achieve sterile processing goals.
- Schedule and assign tasks to team members and supervise operations in decontamination and sterile work areas.
- Inspect case cart requisitions for accuracy and coordinate the transport of carts to necessary facilities.
- Maintain inventory and stock levels.
- Ensure proper documentation of sterilization activities.
- Monitor the application of proper techniques during instrumentation processing, preparation, and packaging.
