About The Position
This role is responsible for managing, planning, and tracking budgets related to instrument expenses within Sterile Processing. The coordinator ensures accurate allocation and monitoring of these costs. The position requires a strong background in Sterile Processing and a commitment to fostering a workplace that embraces diversity and belonging.
Requirements
- High School Education or equivalent.
- Experience in managing, planning, and tracking budgets, with an emphasis on ensuring accurate allocation and monitoring of instrument related expenses.
- 5 plus years of Sterile Processing experience.
- Current Central Service Tech Certification (International Association of Health Care Central Service Materials Management – IAHCCSMM or Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution – CBSPD).
- Instrument Specialist Certification must be obtained and is required during 1 year of employment.
Nice To Haves
- Current Instrument Specialist Certification (Certified Instrument Specialist – CIS Certification through IAHCCSMM or SPD Surgical Instrument Specialist – C.S.I.S Certification through CBSPD) preferred.
