About The Position
The Sterile Process Tech works onsite at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital, cleaning, inspecting, and sterilizing surgical instruments to support the operating room and outpatient practices. The role uses state-of-the-art equipment in a fast-paced service department. Training and support are provided by the Staff Development Coordinator and preceptors. This is a full-time, benefit-eligible day position, scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with rotating weekends once fully trained. The position is scheduled for 40 hours per week.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- CRCST certification within one year of successfully completing the introductory period; materials will be provided.
Nice To Haves
- More than one year of sterile processing experience or equivalent.
- Post-secondary education.
Responsibilities
- Clean, inspect, and sterilize surgical instruments.
- Support the operating room and outpatient practices by providing high-quality instrumentation.
