About The Position

Strive Pharmacy is seeking a Sterile Lab Support Pharmacy Technician to play a crucial role in supporting day-to-day sterile lab operations and gain exposure to various workflows within the organization. This role is designed to provide comprehensive training and hands-on experience for individuals interested in pursuing a career in a compounding pharmacy. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a passion for providing excellent patient care.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Hold an Arizona Pharmacy Technician Trainee license or willing to obtain one prior to starting
• Ability to work efficiently, independently, and as part of a collaborative team
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organizational, and time-management skills
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Must be capable of donning and wearing all required protective gear (including masks, gloves, lab coats, coveralls, hairnets, safety goggles, and shoe covers)
• Must be capable of lifting and moving items, including ingredients, weighing up to 50 pounds

• Proven eye for detail in tasks such as labeling, packaging, and document creation.

Responsibilities

• Support the sterile lab by cleaning, calibrating, and wrapping lab beakers and equipment
• Utilize specialized lab equipment including ovens and autoclaves
• Label vials, restock labs, and ensure adequate stock levels of laboratory supplies
• Routinely check inventory for outdated or soon-to-expire chemicals
• Perform other laboratory support duties as assigned
