About The Position

Basic Home Infusion (BHI) supports physicians in managing their TDD patients and entire practices. Today’s targeted drug delivery (TDD) and infusion therapies demand seamless coordination between physicians, care teams, and patients. BHI brings all three together—empowering doctors to extend care beyond the clinic, enabling staff to streamline and centralize management, and ensuring patients receive TDD in the comfort of their homes from experienced nurses. BHI connects physicians, provider staff, and patients to deliver better home infusion. We are currently hiring for a Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy located in Wayne, NJ.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Licensed Pharmacy Technician
• Compounding experience

Nice To Haves

• Preferred CPhT certification
• Sterile compounding certification preferred
• Sterile compounding experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepares, fills and compounds medications using standard formulas and processes such as weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients.
• Maintains the pharmacy according to USP 797 standards. This includes maintenance, cleaning, testing, and re-certification of the prep room, ante room, and the clean room.
• Maintain and provide drug usage reports to our pharmaceutical partners as requested.
• Maintains inventory levels of supplies needed by both pharmacy and nursing.
• Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by a pharmacist.
• Participate in the quality assurance programs for patient care.
• Coordinate pharmacy services with nursing services in order to provide safe and appropriate patient care.
