Sterile Compounding Pharmacist
About The Position
Our client, a pharmaceutical manufacturing company in Nashville, is adding two Sterile Compounding Pharmacists as it continues to expand its pharmacy operation. The environment focuses on sterile compounding, quality, precision, and regulatory standards, with the opportunity to join an organization at an important stage of growth. The Sterile Compounding Pharmacist will be directly involved in preparing, overseeing, and verifying sterile compounded products in a regulated pharmacy environment. This is hands-on work requiring an experienced pharmacist who understands aseptic technique, sterile preparation, cleanroom practices, documentation, and the importance of getting every detail right. Compliance with USP <797> and USP <800> is central to the position.
Requirements
- A current Tennessee pharmacist license in good standing
- At least two years of sterile compounding experience
- Strong working knowledge of USP <797> and USP <800>
- PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited pharmacy program
- Availability for full-time work Monday through Friday

Responsibilities
- Preparing and verifying sterile compounded preparations
- Reviewing formulations and calculations
- Maintaining accurate compounding records
- Following established cleanroom procedures
- Supporting quality and compliance activities
- Working closely with pharmacy, manufacturing, operations, and quality personnel
