About The Position

The Sonepar Training for Emerging Professionals Program (STEP) is a 12-Month dynamic, intensive rotational program designed to educate, train, and develop skills in emerging professionals and help establish your career. You will get hands on experience in every aspect of our business through on-the-job, e-learning, subject matter expert training, and residency trips. This rotational program includes exposure to site and corporate operations, sales strategies, processes, procurement, project management, E-Commerce, and the Sonepar USA and our Operating Companies’ business philosophy. At the conclusion of this dynamic program, you will have the opportunity to present to our Executive Leadership team on key strategic organizational initiatives. Our program provides the ability to grow your career within our organization, participate in special assignments and gain business acumen through mentor programs. Requirements

  • A Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, or related degree required.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Possess an enthusiastic/self-starter attitude
  • Excellent communication, time management and leadership skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Gain hands-on experience in every aspect of the business through on-the-job training, e-learning, subject matter expert training, and residency trips.
  • Gain exposure to site and corporate operations, sales strategies, processes, procurement, project management, E-Commerce, and the Sonepar USA and Operating Companies’ business philosophy.
  • Present to the Executive Leadership team on key strategic organizational initiatives at the conclusion of the program.
  • Participate in special assignments and gain business acumen through mentor programs.
  • Complete core rotations in Warehouse/Logistics, Inside Sales/Counter, Projects & Quotations, Marketing/Digital Solutions/E-Commerce, and Outside Sales/Specialty Track.
  • Participate in team-building activities with fellow emerging professionals.
  • Engage in all-expense-paid travel to different company locations.
  • Gain an enhanced understanding of the business through specialized training.
