About The Position

The STEM teacher is responsible for providing engaging, rigorous, and Christ-centered instruction in mathematics and STEM-related courses. The teacher will inspire students to develop critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a biblical worldview while preparing them for college, careers, and lifelong learning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, STEM education, Engineering, Science, or other related field.
  • Strong Christian testimony and commitment to Christian education.
  • Ability to pass background screening.

Responsibilities

  • Teach STEM-related courses such as: Robotics, Engineering Design, Aerospace or Environmental Science, Coding/Computer Science
  • Develop lesson plans aligned with state standards and school curriculum.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student learning needs.
  • Integrate technology and hands-on learning experiences into instruction.
  • Utilize data to monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
  • Integrate biblical principles and a Christian worldview into daily instruction.
  • Model Christian character and servant leadership in professional and personal life.
  • Lead students in prayer and faith-based discussions as appropriate.
  • Support the school's mission, vision, and statement of faith.
  • Foster a positive classroom culture that promotes respect, responsibility, and academic excellence.
  • Encourage creativity, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Maintain effective classroom management and procedures.
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and concerns.
