About The Position

Early Care and Education is seeking enthusiastic and caring teachers for their after-school program, STEM Station. This role involves picking up elementary-aged children from school in a mini bus. STEM Station focuses on enriching children's educational journey through hands-on STEAM activities in a relaxed and enjoyable environment, aiming for academic and personal growth.

Requirements

Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
Valid Texas driver’s license
Willingness to drive a mini bus
Experience working with young children
Ability to bend, stoop, and run to keep up with active young children
Strong communication and interaction skills with children and parents
Compassion, respect, and patience for young children
High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
Valid Texas driver’s license (Required)
Ability to commute: Flower Mound, TX 75028 (Required)

Responsibilities

Maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing classroom environment
Implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that promotes social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth
Document attendance records, food program compliance, developmental milestones, accident reports, and daily communication with parents
Use positive guidance techniques through the implementation of Conscious Discipline
Collaborate respectfully and professionally with other team members to ensure the success of the children and the school family
