About The Position

Episcopal High School seeks a full-time STEM teacher beginning in fall 2027 for a one-year leave replacement. The teacher will teach students in a variety of STEM-related courses, which may include statistics or other math courses, engineering, and data analytics. The assignment will include four to five sections of STEM courses, with potential residential, extracurricular, and advising duties. The school seeks a dynamic candidate who will participate eagerly in the broad life of the School and actively advance its mission, students’ sense of belonging, afternoon option curriculum, and residential life program. Candidates should be willing and able to work effectively in a 100% boarding school environment, keeping strong relationships with students at the forefront. The position includes a housing benefit, either on campus or through a stipend to offset costs. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.

Requirements

Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in sciences, engineering, math, or a related field.
Commitment to fostering belonging across a diverse range of students.
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Desire to commit to the intense but rewarding nature of working at a 100% boarding school.
