About The Position

We are looking for smart, creative, dynamic instructors from all backgrounds to teach LEGO classes and camps where students are introduced to a range of STEM concepts while being given the tools to unlock their creativity and their problem-solving skills. Instructors serve as a representative of Play-Well in a positive and professional manner, manage each class session ensuring children are safe, engaged, and having fun, and communicate with parents and clients in a knowledgeable, respectful and tactful manner. They must adhere to all Play-Well and facility safety procedures and procedures for supervision and release of children, and ensure the care, safekeeping, and upkeep of assigned LEGO teaching kits.

Requirements

Serves as a representative of Play-Well in a positive and professional manner.
Completes all training programs as required by the Area Manager.
Understands the curriculum and concepts thoroughly to be able to provide value to participants with diverse abilities and interests.
Reliable transportation a must.
Secure location to store teaching materials.
Must pass all background checks as a condition of employment.

Nice To Haves

Teaching/Instruction experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Communicate with parents and clients respectfully and tactfully.
Adhere to all safety procedures for supervision and release of children.
Ensure the care, safekeeping, and upkeep of assigned LEGO teaching kits.
Respond quickly to communications from management.
Regularly communicate with Area Manager with questions, concerns and updates.
