About The Position

United Skates of America is seeking an enthusiastic STEM Educator for school-year field trips at their USA Seaford location. This part-time, per diem position involves developing and presenting STEM lesson plans for students from kindergarten to high school, utilizing advanced audio and video technology for groups of 50 to 250 students. The role is ideal for individuals with a love for children, some science knowledge, and an energetic personality, offering a unique opportunity to combine education with physical fitness and fun.

Requirements

An outgoing and animated personality
A passion for education and STEM topics
An engaging stage presence
Creativity and a strong ability to improvise
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint
A knack for relating STEM concepts to everyday life
Availability Monday to Friday during school hours (specific days and times will vary based on bookings)
Reliable transportation
No teaching degree is required
