About The Position

We are seeking enthusiastic, motivated, and talented individuals to work as Lead Instructors in our Saturday program. This is a 10-week program focused on technology education, including areas like Video Games, Coding (Python, Javascript, Lua etc.), Roblox™, App Design, Digital Arts, Video Editing, Robotics, Drones, Minecraft™, or STEM. The program runs for 10 Saturdays starting September 26th and involves working with children ages 6-11 or 8-14. Paid training is provided, and no formal experience is required. The role offers an opportunity to spend Saturdays with students, having fun with technology.

Requirements

• Located within driving distance of one of our partner regions and have reliable transportation.
• Available to start online training immediately upon hire (train at your own pace via our online portal).
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be available to work all 10 weeks.
• Must love working with kids!
• 21 years of age or older.
• College graduates with a degree in education, digital arts, computer science, information technology or related fields and/or significant relevant work experience are ideal.
• Graduating college seniors with student teaching experience are also encouraged to apply.
• Ability to lead a class of up to 12 kids solo and 25 kids with an assistant in a classroom setting.
• Ability to manage and safely transfer equipment between sites as needed for various classes.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with children in an educational setting.
• Strong technology skills are preferred, such as 3D modeling, coding, game creation or design, animation, robotics, modifying games, video editing, digital arts, competitive gaming, significant knowledge of Minecraft or Roblox.
• Some experience with kids in a formal or informal setting (classroom, volunteering, childcare, tutoring, coaching, etc.).

• Inspire kids through technology and creativity.
