Requirements
- Background or strong interest in STEM fields, computer science, or education
- Experience working with children or youth in an educational or mentorship setting
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Enthusiastic, patient, and adaptable with a student-first mindset
- Ability to work part-time or flexible hours including afternoons and weekends
- Must pass a background check prior to employment
Nice To Haves
- Basic knowledge of coding languages such as Scratch, Python, or JavaScript is a plus
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, hands-on STEM and coding lessons to students of varying age groups and skill levels
- Guide students through programming concepts, robotics, and technology projects in a classroom setting
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment for all students
- Assist in curriculum preparation and classroom setup for daily instruction
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support growth
- Collaborate with senior instructors and staff to continuously improve lesson delivery
- Maintain classroom safety and ensure all students remain engaged and on task
