About The Position

We are seeking a STEM-After School Instructor to teach K-5th grade students in Santa Barbara, CA. The instructor will lead classes in Coding with Scratch, Magic, Robotics with Ozobot, and Pottery. Classes are held Monday through Thursday from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM and 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM, with the program running from September 8th to November 19th. Compensation is $60 per hour of class.

Requirements

Experience teaching or instructing children, preferably in a STEM or after-school setting.
Knowledge and ability to teach Coding with Scratch, Magic, Robotics with Ozobot, and/or Pottery.
Ability to manage a classroom of K-5th grade students.
Reliable transportation to the Santa Barbara, CA site.
Availability to work Monday through Thursday afternoons.
Must be able to commit to the program dates: September 8th - November 19th.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Ozobot robotics.
Familiarity with the Scratch programming language.
Experience in teaching magic tricks or pottery.
Background in education or child development.

Responsibilities

Teach STEM-related programs including Coding with Scratch, Magic, Robotics with Ozobot, and Pottery.
