About The Position

AUTOKINITON is seeking a Steel Tube Mill Supervisor for the 2nd shift. This role is part of the Mills Operations team and reports to the Mills Operations Manager. The supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating activities to meet production requirements, ensuring safe operations, and contributing to the company's goal of building the future of mobility through operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements

5+ years operating a steel tube mill required
Microsoft Office

Nice To Haves

Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred

Responsibilities

Supervises, coordinates and prioritizes activities to meet requirements
Responsible for manning and training in department
Train and develop team
Facilitate department meetings
Conduct departmental meetings
Ensure safe operations of the machine
Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production goals
Recommends measures to improve production method, equipment performance and quality of product
Ensure operators are following work instructions & properly using job packs
Perform basic troubleshooting of the mills
Perform preventative maintenance on the machine
Oversee tooling changeovers
Monitor set-up weld box; ensures quality of the tube and weld
