About The Position

Worthington Steel is hiring dependable associates with a solid work history and reliable transportation for our 2nd and 3rd shift teams. As a Steel Production Associate, you will help produce high-quality steel products used by leading automotive manufacturers across North America. Every day, you will play an important role in delivering products our customers rely on. You will receive hands-on training from experienced team members who are committed to helping you succeed.

Requirements

• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical, repetitive work
• Reliable transportation (facility not accessible by public transit, pedestrian or bike traffic)
• Flexibility to work afternoon or night shifts
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen

Nice To Haves

• Manufacturing or industrial experience
• Experience operating forklifts, overhead cranes, or other industrial equipment

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes
• Move, stage, and handle materials safely
• Package, band, weigh and inspect steel products
• Load and unload production equipment
• Perform quality checks to ensure product excellence
• Work with your team to safely meet production goals
