Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 10+ years of experience in the construction field as a Supervisor.
  • Expertise with self-perform steel erection scopes of significant size.
  • Proficient with Microsoft suite applications.
  • Familiarity with Primavera and Procore.

Responsibilities

  • Providing schedule, erection sequencing, logistics, and equipment selection on steel erection scopes for pursuits and awarded projects.
  • Create the project start-up guide & quality assurance program.
  • Help read and build a 1-2 month look ahead work schedule.
  • Scheduling of labor, materials, equipment and knowledgeable on EWM procedures.
  • Experience with the purchase of project construction materials.
  • Read and understand contracts with both owners and subcontractors.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with owners, engineers, craft workforce and other contractors.
  • Participate in project planning meetings.
  • Set sequence and directions for field and subcontractor work forces.
  • Assist PM on estimating change orders.
  • Prepare and sequence site logistics within budget and schedule restraint.
  • Foresee and mitigate schedule conflicts with subcontractors and self-performed work.
