About The Position

This role is for a Mechanical Design Engineer who will perform design drawings and calculations. The engineer will apply the ASME Code to the design and perform analysis of primary equipment components such as Steam generators, PRHR, Pressurizer, Accumulation Tank, and Core-makeup tank. The role also involves authoring deviation and non-conformance reports to support fabricators of Primary Equipment. The position is located at the Cranberry Township, PA headquarters and will be performed in a Hybrid capacity.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering

Responsibilities

• Create design drawings and specifications to support component fabrication.
• Support Component Fabricators with Fab Follow work such as Fab drawing, Material, and Weld document reviews.
• Support non-conformance and deviation reports.
• Support larger generic projects that are developing the industry guidance and requirements for safe long-term operation of nuclear power plant primary equipment components.
