About The Position
We are seeking a dynamic and engaging STEAM Educator to lead our after-school programs. This role involves facilitating hands-on learning experiences in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics for students in grades K-5. The educator will be responsible for delivering engaging curriculum, managing classroom activities, and fostering a positive learning environment.
Requirements
- Experience working with children in a K-5 grade level.
- Knowledge and passion for STEM and Arts education.
- Ability to manage a classroom effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Ability to work Monday - Friday between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in curriculum development.
- Bilingual abilities.
- Experience with specific STEM or Arts disciplines (e.g., coding, robotics, visual arts, music).
Responsibilities
- Lead and instruct students in various STEM and Arts programs.
- Deliver engaging, hands-on learning experiences.
- Manage classroom activities and student behavior.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Adapt curriculum to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Communicate with program coordinators regarding student progress and program needs.
