About The Position

We are seeking a passionate and engaging STEAM After School Instructor to lead classes for K-5th grade students. This role involves facilitating hands-on learning experiences in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics within an after-school setting. The instructor will manage classroom dynamics, ensure student safety, and foster a love for learning in a fun and interactive environment.

Requirements

Experience working with children in a K-5th grade age range.
Knowledge and passion for STEAM subjects.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage a classroom effectively.
Patience, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.
Reliable transportation to the site address.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience as a teacher or camp counselor.
Background in a specific STEAM field (e.g., engineering, computer science, art).
Experience with curriculum development.
First Aid and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Lead and instruct K-5th grade students in STEAM-related activities.
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with the STEAM program curriculum.
