About The Position

We are seeking a passionate and engaging Coding After School Instructor to lead our coding program for students in grades 2nd-6th. This role involves teaching coding concepts in 60-minute blocks between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The program will run from July 20th to July 24th, 2026, at our Pikesville, MD location.

Requirements

Experience in teaching or instructing, particularly in a youth or educational setting.
Proficiency in coding concepts and programming languages suitable for elementary and middle school students.
Ability to manage a classroom of young learners.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Reliable and punctual.
Must be available for the entire program duration: July 20th - July 24th, 2026.
Background check may be required.

Nice To Haves

Experience with specific coding platforms or curricula relevant to K-6 education.
Degree in Computer Science, Education, or a related field.
Experience working with after-school programs or summer camps.

Responsibilities

Instruct students in coding concepts during scheduled class times.
Manage classroom environment to ensure a positive and productive learning experience.
