About The Position
We are seeking enthusiastic and engaging instructors to lead our Coding and Drama After School Program for students in grades K-5. This role involves teaching foundational coding concepts and drama skills in a fun and interactive environment. Classes are held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
Requirements
- Experience in teaching or working with children in grades K-5.
- Knowledge of basic coding principles.
- Experience or strong interest in drama and performing arts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a classroom effectively.
- Reliable and punctual.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience teaching after-school programs.
- Formal training in computer science or theater arts.
- Experience with curriculum development.
Responsibilities
- Teach coding concepts to K-5th grade students.
- Lead drama activities and exercises for K-5th grade students.
- Manage classroom behavior and ensure a positive learning environment.
- Prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans.
- Communicate with program coordinators regarding student progress and any issues.
