About The Position

Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to cocktail servers and patrons, following standard drink recipes. This role requires excellent customer service and communication skills, flexibility, adaptability, and self-motivation. The bartender must be able to read, write, and communicate verbally in English. Essential job functions include acknowledging every guest in a timely manner, providing personalized and prompt service, preparing drinks with proper portions and ingredients, monitoring guest alcohol consumption and intervening as needed, and accounting for all sales. The role also involves recognizing and relaying information about Platinum guest players, actively listening to communications, maintaining a friendly, helpful, and professional demeanor, and a cheerful attitude during peak business periods.

Requirements

  • One year previous experience as a bartender is required.
  • Required to work any day, any shift (including holidays).
  • Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Must be flexible, adaptable, and self motivated.
  • Must be able to read, write and communicate verbally in English.
  • 21 years old minimum age requirement.
  • S. Nevada Health District Food Handler Card and Alcohol Awareness Card.

Responsibilities

  • Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to cocktail servers and patrons.
  • Follow standard drink recipes.
  • Acknowledge every guest in a timely manner.
  • Provide personalized, prompt service, and use guest names when possible.
  • Prepare and pour drink orders with proper portions and ingredients.
  • Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and intervene as needed according to guidelines.
  • Account for all cash, charge, and complimentary sales.
  • Recognize Platinum guest players and relay that information on to other team members.
  • Listen and pay attention to what is being communicated both verbally and non-verbally.
  • Maintain a happy cheerful attitude with patrons and team members during stressful periods of peak business.
  • Other job-related duties as assigned and instructed by management.
