About The Position
This position assists Bon Appetit employees in the day-to-day operation of the cafeteria, serving the student body and guests effectively and in a timely manner. It is a student employee position with a wage range of $13.50-$15.50/hour.
Requirements
- At least one semester of food service experience required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Bon Appetit Mgmt. Co. in Stav Hall preferred.
Responsibilities
- Show initiative in supporting the food service program in Stav Hall
- Use previous food service experience to support new team members and help them adapt to work environment
- Set up stations with appropriate utensils and serving pans
- Compose and plate products according to guests’ desires
- Restock menu items and other products
- Assist Bon Appetit staff as needed
- Keeping work areas clean during service
- Adhering to all sanitation, cleanliness, and safety guidelines
