About The Position

The Statistics Student Teaching Assistant/Grader assists the Statistics Professor with grading daily or weekly assignments. The role includes coordinating with the professor on collecting and distributing homework, grading assignments as requested, and maintaining records of student homework performance. The position is a student employee role classified as non-exempt in the Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science department at St. Olaf College.

Requirements

• Completed the statistics course for which the applicant is applying with an A or B grade.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Capability to complete work in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Meet with the professor to create a plan for collecting and distributing homework assignments.
• Grade statistics assignments as requested by the professor.
• Maintain records of student homework performance.
