About The Position

As a Statistician Intern within the Pharmaceuticals Statistics US department at Bayer, you will gain a direct view into research and development and witness how clinical trials influence decisions during the drug development process. This role provides a unique opportunity to work closely with senior-level Statisticians in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the analysis of clinical trial data and supporting highly knowledgeable trial and project Statisticians. At the end of your internship, you will present your research project to both the Statistics department and a non-statistical audience, enhancing your experience and exposure within the field.

Requirements

Pursuing a Master’s or PhD degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, or related fields from an accredited college/university
Must be motivated and well-organized
Strong analytical and quantitative abilities with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Good working knowledge of SAS, R, and/or Python
Ability to participate within a multi-disciplinary team as well as act autonomously, as appropriate
