About The Position

The production statistician performs production-management duties and works closely with cost accounting management in supporting designated geographic regions. The role is responsible for production statistics, production daily reports, training, performance management, and floating reward calculations. The position is based at Fuyao Glass America’s South Carolina Factory in Fountain Inn, South Carolina, and operates in a professional office, on the production floor, and in the warehouse. It is a full-time role, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional evening and weekend work as duties demand. Little to no travel is expected. The position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but serves as a coach and mentor to other positions in the department. Applicants must be at least 18 years old.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Knowledge of accounting principles.
• Problem-solving and analysis skills.
• Mathematical and statistical analysis skills.
• Communication proficiency.
• Ethical conduct.
• Time-management skills.
• Must be 18 years or older.

• Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Train and guide Line Leads in completing production daily reports and entering the information into the ERP system.
• Review production daily reports and supervise the accuracy and timeliness of recorded results.
• Count materials under inventory organization and report the results.
• Summarize attendance using a set parameter.
• Record machinery good counts using a set parameter.
• Record and report KPI indexes according to management requirements.
• Prepare production daily reports, monthly reports, and other related reports.
• Participate in and execute production results.
• Coach and mentor other positions in the department.
