About The Position

SDSA is seeking a hands-on programmer for a 12-month secondment to support Real-World Evidence (RWE) analytics. This role is intended for an experienced analyst who is interested in expanding their exposure to real-world data and RWE methodologies while contributing directly to study and rapid analytics delivery. This is an individual contributor role with a strong focus on execution and delivery; it does not include people-management responsibilities.

Requirements

• BA/BS with 4+ years of experience and/ OR MBA/MS with 2+ years of experience.
• Demonstrated experience as a statistical programmer (e.g., SAS and/or R).
• Interest in or prior experience with real-world data and RWE analytics.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality deliverables.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, matrixed environment.
• Permanent work authorization in the United States.

Nice To Haves

• CMO experience strongly preferred.
• PhD or JD with 0+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytics in SAS and R, to support RWE studies and rapid analytics initiatives using real-world data sources (e.g., claims, EHR, country and CMS data).
• Develop and validate analysis datasets, tables, figures, and listings in accordance with internal quality and compliance standards.
• Implement and maintain reusable, standardized programming assets (e.g., macros, functions, templates).
• Collaborate closely with statisticians, epidemiologists, and cross-functional partners to deliver timely, high-quality outputs.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts related to programming efficiency and standardization within SDSA RWE.
