About The Position

Under the direction of the chief engineer, this person is responsible for shift coverage in plant operations. Some minor maintenance responsibilities are required. Requirements

High school, vocational or trade school graduate
Five to Seven years experience working with boilers and steam generating equipment.
Ability to make repairs meeting exact standards is required.
Second Class Fireman’s License or 3rd Class Engineer's License or higher required

All employees with direct patient contact are responsible for actively engaging in the practice of, monitoring and enforcing compliance to hand hygiene.
Removes or arranges for removal of safety hazards from environment immediately to prevent potential safety hazards from occurring.
Maintains Boiler Plant Equipment so that boiler works properly and all OSHA requirements are met.
Performs routine painting on the piping so it is color coded to meet OSHA requirements.
Reviews all logs and makes recommendations, reviews equipment when down for annual maintenance and vender performs quarterly tests.
Completes 100% of corrective work orders daily.
Completes 100% of preventive work orders monthly.
Completes documentation so that the supervisor receives 100% of daily reports.
Responds appropriately to utility failures.
