This role is responsible for driving compliance with Quality, Health, and Safety (QHS) policies, programs, and initiatives to enhance the quality of processes and services. The manager will assist operations in evaluating current site processes to identify areas for improvement according to quality procedures. This position serves as the site's subject matter expert and liaison for the Crane Worldwide Quality Management System and external standards such as ISO and GDP. The role involves establishing quality improvement project teams, overseeing their progress and results, and leading the business in quality management with expertise in ISO standards and certification processes. Additionally, the manager will develop new tools, methods, and systems for quality improvement, define and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures, and act as the site's subject matter expert for the Crane Safety Program, ensuring compliance with local safety regulations. The role also promotes compliance with Crane's global policy for Safety Committees, collaborates on local safety training, equipment maintenance, and forklift training, and maintains training documentation for all QHSE programs. The manager will develop site emergency response plans, coordinate with vendors for emergency events, ensure regulatory compliance for dangerous goods and hazardous materials, and maintain a non-conforming commodities list. This position also ensures personnel are trained and comply with Crane's Global Dangerous Goods Policy and that all incidents are reported and investigated per company policy.
