About The Position

Janel Group is seeking a Station Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of one of its terminals in Dallas, Texas. This hands-on leadership role oversees dispatch, dock operations, drivers, customer service, safety, and performance, serving as the primary leader on-site. The role focuses on keeping freight moving safely and efficiently and making a direct impact on the success of Janel Group’s growing network.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of transportation, logistics, or terminal operations experience.
• At least 3 years of leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation safety requirements.
• Hands-on leadership approach, including willingness to be on the dock and in the operation every day.
• Strong decision-making, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility to support a dynamic operation when needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead terminal operations, including dispatch, routing, dock activities, and freight flow.
• Improve efficiency, service levels, and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, coaching, and team development.
• Partner with sales teams to support business growth and expansion opportunities.
• Build a culture of accountability, reliability, teamwork, and operational success.
