Perform all types of work involved in the construction, maintenance, rebuild, removal, operation, testing and inspection of energized or de-energized generation, transmission and distribution facilities. Assist in responding to emergency call-outs on station trouble and coordinating prompt restoration of service to customers as required. This role involves direct, immediate, and general supervision guidelines, with a 'Qualified Person' defined as a Station Electrician or Supervisor knowledgeable in the task and capable of performing emergency rescue. The position requires the ability to work on energized equipment up to 260 volts, and after six months, assist with voltages above 750 volts under supervision. Responsibilities include selecting and understanding prints/drawings, using various test equipment, performing maintenance and repairs on station equipment, installing conduit, pipe, cable, and wire, using insulating materials, conducting visual inspections and tests, replacing components, assisting with oil and electrical tests, performing station switching, and maintaining records. The role also includes operating company vehicles and specialized equipment, performing aerial lift rescue, and adhering to safety rules and regulations.
