About The Position

This position assists with training and monitoring the performance of Line Cooks. The Station Cook I is responsible for maintaining the organization, cleanliness, and sanitation of work areas and equipment. They will prepare and assign production and prep work for Line Cooks, review priorities, and communicate any additions or changes to assignments as they arise throughout the shift. The role also involves setting up workstations with required mis en place, tools, equipment, and supplies, and breaking down workstations to complete closing duties at the end of the day.

Requirements

  • 5 years' experience as a Line Cook at a hotel/resort or restaurant.
  • Ability to work all stations on the line.
  • Food handling certification required.
  • High work ethic and self-initiative.
  • May be required to work varying schedules to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
