About The Position
Life Care Center of Westlake is seeking qualified State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs) to join their team. This facility is affiliated with Life Care Centers of America, a privately owned industry leader in healthcare with over 200 locations. The STNA will be an important member of the interdisciplinary team, responsible for providing routine daily nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. The role involves delivering direct care to patients, including bathing, feeding, grooming, and toileting.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of a State-approved STNA program
- Currently registered/licensed in applicable State. Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
- CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.
Nice To Haves
- One (1) year geriatric nursing experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide routine daily nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
- Deliver direct care to patients (bathing, feeding, grooming, toileting, etc.) as directed.
- Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
- Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
- Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.
- Maintain professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc.
