About The Position

Serves as the system expert of the assigned school(s) by entering, summarizing, analyzing, and reviewing data for accuracy to produce standard, custom, and confidential reports for the assigned school principal(s) and LEA administrators. This role administers user security for assigned school(s), coordinating with district personnel. The coordinator manages, generates, and distributes student demographic, scheduling, academic progress, testing, and disciplinary incidents data. They maintain records of student withdrawal from school, including reasons for withdrawal and students’ planned destination, and prepare periodic statistical reports. The position also facilitates the transfer of student information between schools, including record requests, and maintains the database for applications that interface with the student information system. Accessing the Internet for student information-related materials and working with various departments to accurately input, maintain, reconcile, and report data are key functions. The role assures coordination of both verbal and written information to district employees, completes special projects, and is responsible for facilitating the enrollment process of students. Support is provided to all Enrollment Specialists regarding reporting processes and requirements. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • General knowledge of computers, computer commands, peripherals, and various operating systems.
  • Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Knowledge of attendance regulations and student accounting procedures.
  • Sound knowledge of district enrollment practices and procedures.
  • Considerable knowledge of data management, policies, and procedures.
  • Considerable knowledge of word processing software, spreadsheets, and databases.
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software problems.
  • Ability to apply independent judgment in correcting data errors or omissions.
  • Ability to exercise a high degree of confidentiality regarding student information in accordance with federal privacy laws, and any additional standards required by the state or local school district.
  • Ability to communicate using standard conventions with school personnel, parents, central office staff, and outside entities, including local judicial or governmental agencies.
  • Able to maintain a positive attitude and a solution-based approach to challenges within EEG’s schools.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Support the philosophy and mission of EEG.
  • Satisfactory completion of local, state, and federal criminal history check.
