The DHHS Behavioral Health Division is seeking a State Opioid Response Program Coordinator (DHHS Program Coordinator C73260) who will be responsible for the coordination of multiple projects and programs under the State Opioid Response Grant, such as the No Cost Naloxone Program. This role involves managing and monitoring contracts, strategic planning and implementation of initiatives to increase program knowledge, creating a naloxone distribution and saturation plan for Nebraska, training community members on overdose recognition and reversal medication use, developing strategic messaging on opioid and stimulant misuse dangers, coordinating meetings with partners, providing technical assistance, and developing reports for federal and state requirements, including grant writing, needs assessments, and evaluations.
