About The Position
Banister Nissan of Chesapeake is looking for a skilled Automotive Technician with a Virginia State Inspector License who is ready to maximize earnings in a high-volume, high-performance shop. Requirements
- Valid Virginia State Inspector License (REQUIRED)
- 2+ years’ experience as an Automotive Technician / Auto Mechanic
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Motivated, dependable, and ready to earn
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a dealership or high-volume shop preferred
- ASE Certification (a plus, not required)
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on Nissan and other vehicles
- Complete Virginia State Safety Inspections
- Handle brakes, engine repair, electrical diagnostics, suspension, and drivability concerns
- Perform multi-point inspections and recommend needed services
- Accurately document work orders and maintain productivity
