Enjoy free parking and admission to the Minnesota State Fair on your scheduled workdays, plus one extra admission ticket for another day. The hourly wage for this position will generally be $15.00-17.00 based on qualifications. Current Nordic Ware employees will be paid no less than their regular rate for hours worked in this position.

Requirements

Basic computer skills are required
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with a friendly and approachable attitude
Excellent attendance and timeliness are required
Ability to work scheduled shifts throughout the State Fair, including evenings and weekends.
Capacity to communicate clearly with customers and understand instructions from team members.

Nice To Haves

basic register skills are preferred
Weekend availability is strongly preferred.
Experience in cooking and baking is preferred
A willingness to learn about products, details, and functions

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products, answering questions, and offering product recommendations
Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system, handling credit and electronic payments
Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including restocking shelves, arranging displays, and ensuring products are properly labeled
Stay up to date with product knowledge, promotions, and company policies to provide accurate information to customers
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor, adhering to the state fair booth's dress code and customer service standards
