About The Position

Students Today Alumni Tomorrow (STAT) is seeking enthusiastic and motivated students to join our program. As a STAT Ambassador, you will play a crucial role in connecting with alumni, parents, and friends of the institution. Join STAT and help increase engagement, scholarship funding, program and activities budgets, and campus services for every student! This part-time student employment opportunity allows you to make a meaningful impact while you build your skills in sales, communication, fundraising, technology, and relationship management while reaching out to supporters of the University. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for students who want to make a difference and can give you a head start in virtually any career.

Requirements

• Comfortable speaking to people on the phone
• Detail-oriented with organizational skills
• Enthusiastic, respectful, and reliable
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with a diverse range of individuals
• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Open to giving and receiving feedback
• Able to handle personal information with extreme sensitivity and confidentiality
• Available to work two of the scheduled shifts listed above

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with University of Portland and its philanthropic initiatives is a plus
• Preferences will be given to students with Federal Work Study in their Financial Aid package
